Get notified when something happens: payments, cases, approvals, stays.

Register an HTTPS endpoint and choose events. Propvara sends a POST with a JSON body for each event and retries with exponential backoff for up to 3 days if your endpoint doesn't return 2xx.

Events

Event	When
`payment.recorded`	A payment is recorded
`payment.voided`	A payment is voided
`charge.created`	Monthly rent charges are generated
`case.opened`	A tenant, guest or staff member reports a problem
`case.status_changed`	A case moves to a new status
`quote.decided`	An owner approves or declines a quote
`tenancy.started` / `tenancy.ended`	A tenancy begins or ends
`stay.created` / `stay.cancelled`	A booking arrives or is cancelled

Verifying signatures

Each request has a Propvara-Signature header: t=<unix time>,v1=<hex HMAC-SHA256>. Compute HMAC-SHA256 of <t>.<raw body> with your endpoint's signing secret and compare in constant time. Reject requests older than five minutes.
