Calendar feeds (iCal)

Every unit has a private calendar feed of its booked dates. Paste it into a channel's import calendar setting so dates booked elsewhere are blocked there, or subscribe to it from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook.

Find each unit's feed under Stays → Channels. The token in the URL is a 64-character secret; anyone with the link can see which dates are booked, but never guest names, prices or channels.

Avoiding echo

Add ?for=airbnb, ?for=vrbo, ?for=booking or ?for=other to leave out bookings that came from that channel. Without it, the feed includes everything. This stops a channel from importing its own reservations back as blocks.

Format

• RFC 5545 iCalendar, text/calendar; charset=utf-8
• One all-day VEVENT per stay or block, DTEND is the check-out date (exclusive)
• SUMMARY is always Not available
• Cached for up to 5 minutes
• An unknown token returns an empty calendar, not an error, so tokens can't be guessed by probing

Importing channel calendars

Propvara pulls each connected channel calendar daily and whenever someone presses Sync calendars. Only https links on the channels' own domains are accepted.
